Alabama:

Alabama is a federal state in the southern United States. It is a state that played an important role in the civil rights movements of black Americans. It is considered the epicenter of these movements. The internationally known Montgomery Bus Boycott was held in Alabama and marked the beginning of the civil rights struggle for black Americans. Known for its stance during racial segregation, Alabama is more than just that. It is a state with a subtropical climate, it is characterized by an important conservatism, a large part of its population is African-American. Clearly, Alabama is a land steeped in history.

The designer Angela, is inspired by all the trips she has made to create her collections. New York being such a cosmopolitan city, there was something to work on. She was inspired by some of the places she visited to bring out a culture, an element in her creations. It's a way to express her travels through her art that is sewing.
